The term “passive house” is used to designate a building that, thanks to intelligent planning and execution, consumes no more than 1.5 litres of “fuel oil” per m2 per year.
Greater comfort – less energy!
A passive house is characterised by a particularly high level of comfort while maintaining very low energy consumption. From the outside, passive houses do not differ from conventional houses – the term “passive house” refers to an energy standard rather than a specific method of construction.
