The Future of Housing

In order to make autonomous and affordable housing possible for an extended period of time and under constantly changing living conditions, certain criteria need to be fulfilled.  Project “The future of housing” is meant to help collect data and offer comprehensive pictures on the current living situation of Lower Austrian homeowners, via the use of surveys and expert consortiums. Positive examples will be collected through surveys  as well as interviews with homeowners, which will be summarized in a brochure under the following motto: “From real life – for real life”. Moreover, targeted sensibilization and awareness measures around the topic of barrier-free living will be implemented. Here, the aim is to try and use specific tools to make changing living conditions, caused by old age and illness and the consequently related and necessary adaptations to housing, more perceptible.
