The SONNENWELT has opened and presents a new special exhibition which is devote to the subject of "Renewable Energies".
SONNENWELT whisks you off on an exciting course over 2,000m²: from the energy efficient nomadic tents of 10,000 years ago over the clever techniques of the Ancient Egyptians and Romans through to high-tech “made in Austria”. On the way you will not only get practical tips for your own house but can also prove your knowledge and test your skills in challenging games!
Get on this journey through 12 time zones, travel back to the beginnings of our planet and of all energy and click yourself through the ages!
The SONNENWELT revolves around the sun as a light source of energy and to protect our atmosphere and the responsible use of our resources. The wisdom of ancient cultures combined with the art of the future. In the SONNENWELT visitors get on the trail of human history, generate their own physical strength and discover energy and knowledge to take hold of millennia. Touch and try is encouraged in the SONNENWELT in numerous play stations!
Project initiator Mayor Martin Bruckner draws a positive balance: "Particularly pleasing for us is always the tremendous enthusiasm of the children, the young people, families and even the elderly. The interactive stations inspire especially the young people. "
Who knows today how people lived 100 years ago or 1,000 years ago?
The SONNENWELT shows this with a variety of objects and an interactive exhibition, such as the history of mankind has developed and where it will go:
