The aim of the project was to develop holistic teaching materials and methods on the topic of "climate protection" for the 1st to 9th grades in cooperation with educators. Teachers from the participating schools worked out, how students can most easily understand the topic and thus subsequently put it into practice. Another goal was to develop a concept for an Austria-wide "Climate Protection Olympics" so that children and young people in the school environment are motivated to live in a climate-friendly way.

By means of an extensive internet and book research, an inventory analysis was carried out. Based on the results, teaching materials were created.

Another focus of the project was the development of an Austria-wide "Climate Protection Olympics". Based on the results of the material research, a concept was developed for the 4th grades of elementary and secondary schools. A knowledge competition and a dedicated homepage were created, where all relevant information can be accessed by the educators.
