KEM Lainsitztal has adopted the slogan "The day after tomorrow itself In the continuation phase of KLAR! Lainsitztal from 2024 to January 2027, the regionally relevant topics will be continued and new priorities will be set. KLAR! is working on the topic of climate change adaptation together with relevant stakeholders with the help of eight measures, with climate-friendly agriculture and forestry and the topic of moorland playing a key role. In the area of agriculture and forestry, practical knowledge transfer is used to train farmers and foresters to make forests and soils climate-friendly. Solutions for game pressure are sought with the help of game browsing comparison areas and humus build-up is promoted. When it comes to moorland, the focus is on the implementation of renaturation measures with accompanying awareness-raising among small landowners and private individuals. 

In the area of biodiversity, KLAR! supports the municipalities in their role model effect and provides assistance to private individuals in their own sphere of influence. Implementation support, exchange of experience and awareness-raising are part of the “Water management in climate change” measure. In addition, a precautionary check of natural hazards, including further implementation for the municipality of Weitra and the creation of a cross-border forest fire management strategy are being supported. The topic of health will be addressed for the first time. Networking with the Healthy Community Initiative and joint events are at the heart of the new measure, alongside an information folder and social media campaigns.
