Project Description

Within the framework of Q4REN, a practice-oriented qualification programme is being developed and implemented for companies, specifically tailored to the requirements of future regional energy systems. Together with scientific partners, real-world laboratories, and participating companies, relevant areas of competence are identified, training content is developed, and adapted to the specific needs of the participants.

The project includes the design and delivery of a modular continuing education programme consisting of workshops, expert presentations, hands-on exercises, and project-based learning formats. The content is prepared by national and international experts and provides up-to-date knowledge on topics such as cellular energy systems, electrical flexibility, sector coupling, heating networks, digitalisation, data management, as well as innovation and systems analysis.

A key element of Q4REN is the close integration of theory and practice. Participants work on real-world challenges arising from the living labs and learn how innovative technologies and system approaches can be integrated into existing regional energy structures. Through the exchange between research and industry, new networks, collaborative learning processes, and impulses for future research and innovation projects are created.

In addition to knowledge transfer, the individual requirements of the participating companies are taken into account. The developed training modules are continuously evaluated and further refined to ensure sustainable competence development and to support companies in developing their own solutions and business areas in the field of renewable energy systems.
